By Vanessa Villas We are halfway through another year here at UC Davis. For some of you, this will be your last year here and for others it is your first year. And for the rest of you, you’re probably like me and are somewhere in between. Well, we at PASE want to celebrate this year with you at our 11th Annual PASE Awards Banquet. Every year we hold a banquet to honor the PASErs that are graduating and to welcome the new executive board. This year our banquet will be held on Saturday, May 6, 2000 at the Radisson Hotel Berkeley Marina in Berkeley. The theme of this year’s banquet in "What A Journey It Has Been" which is from a line in Lea Salonga’s song "The Journey." Now, you’re probably wondering: "How much is this going to cost?" If not, well I’m going to let you know anyway. The bids this year are $35 for students and $40 for alumni. And for dinner, you will get a choice between Lemon Rosemary Chicken and Prime Rib. [Tickets will go on sale by Wednesday, February 16, 2000. -Ed.] If you planning to graduate this year or have any questions just email me, your happy banquet coordinator at vzvillas@ucdavis.edu. If not, simply mark your calendars, get your dancing shoes ready and buy your bid to celebrate another great year with PASE. I hope to see you there. |
